Student Member, Taylor Cossum, Wins Ambassador Award

By GMC PCMA Student Membership Committee
GMC PCMA congratulates Ms. Taylor Cossum, winner of the DePaul University School of Hospitality Leadership Ambassador Award. The award is given to a student, currently enrolled in our program, in recognition of excellence in furthering the spirit, mission and values of the School. When deciding who will receive this award, DePaul considers the individual’s overall commitment to the SHL, its students, and the critical relationship with industry.

Taylor is currently DePaul’s Event Coordinator for the School of Hospitality Leadership. She also works for Disney's Internships and Programs as a Campus Representative. In this role, which she began after her own internship with the company, she actively recruits DePaul students for the Disney College Program. Taylor is active in many of DePaul’s student clubs including MPI, AH&LA, DSES, and was the founder and president for the PCMA student chapter, currently serving as past-president. She has represented the School of Hospitality Leadership at numerous conferences and conventions such as AH&LA’s IHMRS, IMEX America, and PCMA Convening Leaders.

Taylor will graduate this June with a concentration in Event Management and a specialization in Revenue Management. She looks forward to attending graduate school within the next few years, with a dream of one day working on a Project Team for Disney's Parks and Resorts.
