PCMA Achievement Awards
At Convening Leaders in January each year, the industry celebrates nine professionals nominated by their peers for outstanding achievement in distinct categories the previous year.
PCMA Chairman’s Award
The highest honor the PCMA Chairman of the Board bestows each year at Convening Leaders to an individual or an organization for their unique achievements or contributions to the meetings industry in the previous year.
PCMA Education Foundation Professional Achievement Awards
Awarded to three deserving professionals, each year the industry gathers to salute a Meeting Professional, Educator, and Supplier Professional at the PCMA Education Foundation Dinner Celebrating Professional Achievement. The Honoree Task Force and the Board of Trustees select the honorees each year.
PCMA Global Meetings Executive of the Year Award
Given by PCMA in conjunction with IMEX, this award recognizes meeting planners that demonstrate vision, commitment and passion for the advancement and education of the global meetings industry. The inaugural recipient was Ping He, Director Global Sourcing and Partner Relations, Experient.
PCMA Lifetime Achievement Award
This honors an individual for lifetime outstanding contributions to the industry and PCMA. Most recently It was awarded in 2012 to Donald Freeman, Jr. Bill Taylor, formerly with ASAE and David Evans, formerly with Starwood have also received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
